Parish Council

Welcome to the homepage of Ermington Parish Council

The role of the Council is to raise and deal with local issues, handle planning applications, lobby for better services and to represent the views of the people of Ermington to other bodies such as South Hams District Council and Devon County Council. The council is an elected body and is made up of local residents of the Parish.

Ermington Parish Council meets on the first Tuesday of the month at the Reading Rooms, Ermington at 7.30pm. There is an open forum at the start of every meeting at which any villager can raise a topic for discussion by the councillors.

The meeting is also attended by a local policeman and supporting P.C.S.O, together with County Councillor Richard Hosking and District Councillor Tom Holway
